Undefeated Pinheiros (7-1) recorded its first loss in Sao Paulo. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (5-2) 93-77. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Pinheiros. Paschoalotto/Bauru players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Pinheiros' players. The winners were led by international guard Alex Garcia (191-80, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Gabriel Galvanini (203-98) supported him with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 18 points by guard Felipe Ruivo (189-98) did not help to save the game for Pinheiros.
