Fifth ranked HLA Alicante (9-4) crushed at home 6th ranked Myrtia (7-6) by 22 points 95-73, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by HLA Alicante. Myrtia was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Pedro Rivero (186-79) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American Amadou Sidibe (203-94, college: Fairfield, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. HLA Alicante moved-up to second place, which they share with La Roda and L'Hospitalet. Myrtia lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. HLA Alicante's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Martorell (#16) at home which should be another easy win for them. Myrtia will play against Albacete (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
