Regular Season Round 14: Castello - Prat 76-70

The most important game in the last round took place in Castellon between second ranked CB Prat (11-3) and ninth ranked Castello (7-7) on Friday night. CB Prat was defeated by Castello in a tough game on the road 70-76. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Icelandic point guard Aegir Steinarsson (185-91, college: Newberry, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago center Kyle Rowley (213-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Castello players scored in double figures. Canadian-Nigerian guard Caleb Agada (193-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and Romanian center Emanuel Cate (206-97) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. CB Prat's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Castello moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Palencia and Forca Lleida. CB Prat at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Castello is looking forward to face Lleida Basquet (#8) on the road in the next round. CB Prat will play against Palencia Baloncesto (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
