Regular Season Round 16: Spojnia - GKS Tychy 102-74

Undefeated leader Spojnia delivered the fifteenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked GKS Tychy (7-8) 102-74 in Stargard. Spojnia shot 64.4 percent from the field. Spojnia outrebounded GKS Tychy 34-22 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) during the contest. Four Spojnia players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spojnia (15-0) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Loser GKS Tychy keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Spojnia will meet league's second-placed Polonia Leszno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GKS Tychy will play against Notec Inowr. (#14) and hope to secure a win.
