We should mention about the upset which took place in Belfast, where 7th ranked Belfast Star (6-7) lost at home to tenth ranked DCU Saints (5-8) 72-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Belfast Star. They outrebounded Belfast Star 50-38 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points and 22 rebounds to lead the effort and Conor Gilligan (193-96) supported him with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds by Clement Kulinicz did not help to save the game for Belfast Star. American forward Deangelo Legrier (201, college: W.Florida) added 18 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four Belfast Star players scored in double figures. Belfast Star's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. DCU Saints moved-up to ninth place. Belfast Star at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. DCU Saints will have a break next round.
