Regular Season Round 11: BM Slam Stal - Rosa 80-96

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Ostrow Wlkp. where twelfth ranked Rosa (5-5) defeated 11th ranked BM Slam Stal (6-5) 96-80 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Rosa. BM Slam Stal was better in second period 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rosa shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. It was a great evening for international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Czech Patrik Auda (206-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 assists and the other American import guard DJ Richardson (190-91, college: Illinois, agency: Inception Sports) scored 18 points. BM Slam Stal's coach Emil Rajkovic let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rosa moved-up to eleventh place. Loser BM Slam Stal dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Rosa will face higher ranked PGE Turow (#6) in Zgorzelec in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
