Fourth-ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (5-3) made lots of trouble for first ranked Mogi (9-1) in Mogi das Cruzes. Mogi managed to secure only three-point victory 72-69. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Paschoalotto/Bauru. Mogi made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Paschoalotto/Bauru was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta St.) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. The former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Paschoalotto/Bauru. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mogi have a solid series of four victories in a row.
