Korisliiga top team - Salon Vilpas (14-4) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (3-13) 97-66. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-66. Salon Vilpas made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Salon Vilpas outrebounded Lapuan Korikobrat 48-31 including 37 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Aaron Jones (206-93, college: Mississippi) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds.
