There was a small surprise in Inowroclaw where sixteenth ranked Notec Inowr. (4-11) defeated 14th ranked SKK Siedlce (4-11) 69-56 on Saturday. Notec Inowr. forced 25 SKK Siedlce turnovers. Strangely SKK Siedlce outrebounded Notec Inowr. 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. SKK Siedlce was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Lukasz Paul (205-89) fired 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Damian Szczepanik (198-97) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Notec Inowr. moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with SKK Siedlce and Nysa Klodzko. Notec Inowr. will face higher ranked GKS Tychy (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
