Regular Season Round 12: RIG Mark - Hammarby 81-76

An interesting game for RIG Mark (7-2) which hosted in Kinna second-best Hammarby (7-3). Third ranked RIG Mark managed to get a 5-point victory 81-76. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Hammarby. It was a key game for the second position in the league. RIG Mark dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Hammarby's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard John Thornblom (194-0) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. RIG Mark's coach Michael Bree allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Uros Cigoja (198-98) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds and naturalized Greek point guard Pavlos Pavlidis (183-97) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Hammarby players scored in double figures. RIG Mark moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Hammarby dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Norrort and Nacka Basket. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
