Regular Season Round 12: Nanterre - ES Chalonnais 68-63

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked ES Chalonnais (6-6) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Nanterre (8-4) 68-63. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nanterre outrebounded ES Chalonnais 40-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Maxence Dadiet (192-99) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 4 assists. Guard Armand Mensah (182-99) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Nanterre's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Matthieu Missonnier (184-97) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Victor Mopsus (182-99) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for ES Chalonnais. Nanterre moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gravelines and Bourg. ES Chalonnais at the other side dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Nanterre's next round opponent will be higher ranked Lyon-Villeurbanne (#3) on the road and it may be the game of the week. ES Chalonnais will play against Boulazac (#15) and hope to win that game.
