Fifth ranked Capitanes (12-7) crushed at home 10th ranked Libertadores (5-14) by 26 points 114-88, which is the biggest margin this round. Capitanes shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 63.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Libertadores' players. It was a good game for American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Fernando Benitez (204-89) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Capitanes players scored in double figures. Libertadores at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. Capitanes' next round opponent will be again Libertadores (#10) in Queretaro and are hoping to win another game.
