Very expected game in Bischwiller where 16th ranked GET Vosges (4-10) was crushed by second ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (11-2) 99-72 on Saturday. Gries/Oberhoffen outrebounded GET Vosges 40-29 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Romain Hillotte (195-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Kadeem Green (206, college: Ryerson, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Loic Gigant (196-90) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gries/Oberhoffen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-2 record having four points less than leader Saint Vallier. GET Vosges lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with ten games lost. Gries/Oberhoffen will face SAP Vaucluse (#13) in Sorgues in the next round which should be another easy win for them. GET Vosges will play at home against Lourdes-Tarbes (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
