Regular Season Round 21: Panteras - Toros 77-98

Very expected game in Aguascalientes where 11th ranked Panteras (5-14) were crushed by sixth ranked Toros (9-10) 98-77. It was a good game for international forward Idris Alvarado (196-91) who led his team to a victory with 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). American point guard Jerime Anderson (187-89, college: UCLA) contributed with 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward Michael Glover (203-87, college: Iona) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and the former international swingman Jorge-Alfredo Casillas (196-90) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Panteras. Five Panteras players scored in double figures. Panteras' coach Ronald Guillen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Toros have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 9-10 record, which they share with Aaguacateros. Panteras lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Toros will have a break next round. Panteras will play again at home against Toros (#6) and hope to win that game.
