Eighth-ranked Weert (2-9) gave a tough game to second ranked Leiden (9-1) on Saturday. The visitors from Leiden managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 24-10 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Leiden are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Den Helder (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Weert will play against Amsterdam and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
