No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Oleggio (7-7) defeated at home 13th ranked Alba (4-10) 72-66 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Dominican guard Shaquille Hidalgo (188-94) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Edoardo Gallazzi (200-86) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Oleggio players scored in double figures. Power forward Giacomo Dell'Agnello (201-94) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Oleggio maintains eighth position in B with 7-7 record, which they share with Padova. Newly promoted Alba dropped to the fourteenth place with ten games lost. Oleggio will face higher ranked Omnia Basket (#6) in Pavia in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Alba will play at home against Varese Robur (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
