Regular Season Round 16: Siarka - Biofarm PZN 79-76

A very interesting game took place in Tarnobrzeg. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Biofarm PZN (6-8) to sixth ranked Siarka (9-6) 79-76 on Saturday evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Biofarm PZN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) who scored that evening 17 points and 4 assists and forward Pawel Nowicki (195-92) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points and 6 rebounds by forward Filip Struski (200-94) did not help to save the game for Biofarm PZN. Mikolaj Kurpisz (202-98) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Four Siarka and five Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Siarka maintains sixth position with 9-6 record. Biofarm PZN lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. Siarka's next round opponent will be SKK Siedlce (#15) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play against Pogon Prudnik (#13) and hope to win that game.
