No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Team Crema (9-3) beat at home 8th ranked Milano (6-6) 51-46 on Sunday. Milano was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for power forward Alice Nori (182-93) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Paola Caccialanza (172-89) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Forward Giulia Maffenini (175-92, agency: Two Points) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Martina Picotti (184-90) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Milano. Milano's coach Ugo Pinotti tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Team Crema maintains fifth position in A2 with 9-3 record. Loser Milano keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Team Crema will face league's second-placed Costa Masnaga on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
