Regular Season Round 9: Promitheas - Kolossos HH 76-80

Another exciting game was played in Patras between seventh ranked Kolossos HH and 4th placed Promitheas where Kolossos HH (5-4) won against Promitheas (6-3) on the road 80-76. It was a good game for American guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. His fellow American import point guard Malcolm Griffin (193-91, college: Fresno Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (203-85, agency: BeoExcell) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and international point guard Nikos Gikas (186-91, agency: Octagon Europe) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Promitheas. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kolossos HH moved-up to sixth place, which they share with AEK. Promitheas at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with PAOK and Lavrio. Kolossos HH will play against league's leader Panathinaikos in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Promitheas will play on the road against Koroivos and hopes to get back on the winning track.
