Rather expected game in Aichi where 8th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (2-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Aisin AW (5-5) 79-74 on Sunday. Aisin AW looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Fujita Shunsuke (187-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Center Eve Nyokozera (199-93) helped adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Aisin AW players scored in double figures. Senegalese Bira Seck (204-90, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) scored 20 points. Tokyo Cinq R.'s coach Joe Navarro let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Aisin AW maintains sixth place with 5-5 record. Tokyo Cinq R. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Aisin AW will face league's leader Saitama Broncos on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
