Regular Season Round 11: PGE Turow - Miasto Szkla 87-81

No shocking result in a game in Zgorzelec where eighth ranked PGE Turow (8-5) won against 13th ranked Miasto Szkla (3-8) 87-81 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for American guard Cameron Ayers (196-91, college: Bucknell) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St.) helped adding 16 points. American power forward Peter Alexis (213-92, college: Thomas Jefferson) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Swedish forward Anton Gaddefors (200-89) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for PGE Turow. They moved-up to sixth place. Miasto Szkla lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. PGE Turow will face Rosa (#11) in Radom in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Miasto Szkla will play on the road against Czarni in Slupsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
