Regular Season Round 11: Tokyo HT - Saitama Bron. 72-85

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tokyo HT (8-2) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Saitama Broncos (8-2) 85-72. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Saitama Broncos made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Tokyo HT turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Hiroya Oogane (180-89) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Five Saitama Broncos and four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saitama Broncos keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Tokyo HT. Saitama Broncos is looking forward to face Aisin AW (#6) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
