No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Nacka Basket (7-3) crushed at home 9th ranked Sundsvall (4-7) 101-39 on Sunday. Nacka Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Sundsvall's 32. Nacka Basket forced 21 Sundsvall turnovers and outrebounded them 52-29 including a 39-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacka Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sundsvall's players. It was a good game for point guard Basem Abdulkader (180-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Caleb Musie (175-95) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Five Nacka Basket players scored in double figures. Forward Tom Eriksson (194-92) replied with 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Filip Andersson (187-98) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sundsvall. Nacka Basket moved-up to third place, which they share with Norrort and Hammarby. Sundsvall at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Nacka Basket will face KFUM Uppsala (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sundsvall will play against KFUM Central and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
