Regular Season Round 14: Roma Tiber - Scauri 84-70

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Roma Tiber (6-6) beat at home 8th ranked Scauri (6-8) 84-70 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Daniele Ricciardi (184-81) who scored 26 points. Guard Giorgio Algeri (185-95) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Roma Tiber players scored in double figures. Roma Tiber's coach Marco Polidori used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) produced 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Davide Serino (199-81) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Roma Tiber moved-up to eighth place in B. Loser Scauri dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Roma Tiber's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Roma to the arena Roma Luiss.
