Regular Season Round 11: EA7 Armani - MIA-RO Cantu 93-77
Date: December 17, 2017
Rather expected game when 7th ranked MIA-RO Cantu (5-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Armani Milano (8-3) 93-77 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Andrew Goudelock (190-88, college: Charleston) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. His fellow American import center Kaleb Tarczewski (213-93, college: Arizona) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Armani Milano's coach Simone Pianigiani used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Thomas Jefferson) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Armani Milano moved-up to second place, which they share with Scandone AV. Loser MIA-RO Cantu keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Armani Milano will meet at home league's leader Germani BR in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MIA-RO Cantu will play against VL Pesaro (#15) and hope to secure a win.
