The game between Top Four teams took place in Wloclawek. Second ranked host Anwil (10-2) defeated 3rd placed Twarde Pierniki (8-4) 81-74. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Twarde Pierniki won third quarter 24-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Anwil made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Cape Verdean-Portuguese Ivan Almeida (198-89, college: Stonehill) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. American forward Jaylin Airington (193-93, college: CSU Bakersfield) helped adding 11 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: 3Eye) responded with 23 points and the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Anwil keeps a position of league leader, which they share with MKS DG. Twarde Pierniki at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Stelmet. Anwil is looking forward to face Wilki Morskie (#3) in Szczecin in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Twarde Pierniki will play on the road against Polpharma in Starogard Gdanski and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
