Regular Season Round 14: Civitanova - Cerignola Udas 87-82

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Cerignola Udas (5-9) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Civitanova (8-6) 87-82 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was forward Riccardo Coviello (195-88) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Gennaro Tessitore (189-82) chipped in 25 points. Point guard Simone Colonnelli (185-91) produced 26 points and 5 assists and forward Gianluca Tredici (198-92) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Newly promoted Civitanova maintains sixth position in B with 8-6 record, which they share with Vicenza and Forli Tigers. Cerignola Udas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the twelfth place with nine games lost. Civitanova will face league's second-placed Pescara on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cerignola Udas will play against Bisceglie (#9) and hope to win that game.
