The game in Glyfada supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Faros Keratsiniou (8-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Esperides (4-5). Faros Keratsiniou did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 75-55. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Esperides. Esperides was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Faros Keratsiniou dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Esperides' 36. American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) nailed 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Zoi Kechagia (170-79) accounted for 15 points. Four Faros Keratsiniou players scored in double figures. American-Mexican forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-93, college: Charleston) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Ariana Moorer (170-91, college: Virginia) added 6 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Esperides in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Faros Keratsiniou. Newly promoted Faros Keratsiniou maintains second place with 8-1 record behind leader Olympiacos, which they share with Panionios. Esperides at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Faros Keratsiniou's next round opponent will be Dafni Agioy (#4) in Athens. Esperides will play on the road against Panathinaikos in Athens and hope to win that game.
