Regular Season Round 10: Evreux - Vichy Clermont 91-76

We should mention about the upset which took place in Evreux, where higher ranked JA Vichy (5-5) lost to sixteenth ranked ALM Evreux (3-7) in a road game 76-91. The game was mostly controlled by ALM Evreux. JA Vichy was better in fourth quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. ALM Evreux players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) notched 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Steeve Ho-You-Fat (202-88) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 13 points and 8 assists by American point guard Kwamain Mitchell (178-89, college: St.Louis) did not help to save the game for JA Vichy. Naturalized Ivorian center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso) added 13 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. ALM Evreux moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. ALM Evreux's next round opponent will be higher ranked SPO Rouen (#9) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
