The game with biggest result difference took place in Salvador. Local Universo/Vitoria (4-5) outscored 11th ranked Joinville (2-6) 88-68 on Wednesday night. Universo/Vitoria dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Joinville's 18. Universo/Vitoria will face higher ranked Caxias do Sul (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Joinville will play against SKY/Basquete (#10) in Aldeota and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
