Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Campo Mourao (2-10) was outscored by eleventh ranked Vasco Da G. (3-6) in Rio de Janeiro 84-59 on Thursday. Vasco Da G. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Campo Mourao's players. Quite impressive performance for American David Jackson (195-82, college: Penn St.) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international point guard Welington Dos-Santos (185-81) contributed with 12 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Vasco Da G. players scored in double figures. American guard Greg Brown (188-94, college: St.Francis, PA) replied with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Helio-Vitor Lima (185-81) added 12 points in the effort for Campo Mourao.
