Regular Season Round 15: Prat - Palencia 71-69

Ninth-ranked Palencia Baloncesto (7-8) was very close to win a game against second ranked CB Prat (12-3). CB Prat managed to secure only two-point victory 71-69. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Palencia Baloncesto. Palencia Baloncesto was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 18-15 charge of CB Prat, which allowed them to win the game. Palencia Baloncesto was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Lithuanian center Martynas Andriuskevicius (218-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Marc Blanch (195-82) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was power forward Urko Otegui (203-81) with 12 points and 9 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Andres Miso (198-83) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CB Prat maintains second place with 12-3 record behind leader Breogan. Palencia Baloncesto at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
