Regular Season Round 15: Oviedo - Palma 80-57

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Oviedo CB (10-5) rolled over at home 16th ranked Palma (5-10) 80-57 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Oviedo CB. Palma was better in fourth quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Senegalese forward Mouhamed Barro (205-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Center Oliver Arteaga (208-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Oviedo CB players scored in double figures. Oviedo CB's coach Carles Marco felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. British guard Benjamin Mockford (188-89, college: St.Francis, NY, agency: HMS) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and power forward Roger Fornas (202-82) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Palma. Oviedo CB have a solid series of three victories in a row. Oviedo CB moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Melilla. Palma lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Oviedo CB will face Magia Huesca (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Palma will play against Ourense (#18) and hope to win that game.
