The game in Grodno was quite interesting. Second ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (11-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Victoria (3-12). Tsmoki-Minsk managed to secure a 7-point victory 77-70 on Friday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-6. But Victoria won second period 25-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated on the defensive end, holding Victoria to just 6 points in first quarter. International power forward Ksenia Malashko (182-0) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International forward Hanna Lapo (189-97) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Iryna Hryhoryeva (193-1) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Victoria's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Tsmoki-Minsk have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 11-2 record having eight points less than leader Olimpia. Victoria lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Victoria will play again at home against the league's second-placed Tsmoki-Minsk (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
