Regular Season Round 19: Tochigi Brex - Ryukyu GK 64-74

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Ryukyu GK (19-7) won against on the road 6th ranked Tochigi Brex (11-15) 74-64 on Saturday. American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. International forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) produced 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Shusuke Ikuhara (180-94) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ryukyu GK maintains first place with 19-7 record, which they share with Chiba Jets. Tochigi Brex lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the third position with 15 games lost. Ryukyu GK will face Shimane Magic (#5) at home in the next round. Tochigi Brex will play against Niigata Albirex and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
