Regular Season Round 15: La Charite - Orchies 95-83

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked La Charite (8-7) won against at home 9th ranked Orchesien BC (6-8) 95-83 on Saturday. La Charite looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jerrell Wright (203, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Kevin Thalien (190-92) helped adding 21 points and 6 assists. Four La Charite players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Fabien Ateba (192-91) with 27 points and American guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Newly promoted La Charite maintains seventh place with 8-7 record, which they share with Challans. Loser Orchesien BC dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. La Charite will meet bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play against SO Maritime Boulogne (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
