Regular Season Round 19: Yokohama BC - Hokkaido L. 78-83

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Yokohama BC's (6-20) home loss to fifth ranked Hokkaido L. (14-12) 78-83 on Saturday. Hokkaido L. made 39-of-43 free shots (90.7 percent) during the game, while Yokohama BC only scored twelve points from the stripe. Yokohama BC was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Guard Asahi Tajima (173-88) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). The former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) produced 23 points and American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 9 points, 5 assists and 7 steals respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Hokkaido L. maintains fifth place with 14-12 record. Yokohama BC lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 20 games lost. Hokkaido L. will face league's second-placed San-en NeoPhoenix in Hamamatsu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yokohama BC will play on the road against Shiga L-Stars (#3) and hope to win that game.
