Regular Season Round 12: Saitama Bron. - Aisin AW 85-84

Sixth-ranked Aisin AW (5-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked Saitama Broncos (10-2) on Saturday. Saitama Broncos managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Saitama Broncos made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-87, college: Cincinnati) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Saitama Broncos' coach Samir StClair used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Fujita Shunsuke (187-93) who recorded 28 points and guard Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) added 19 points respectively. Four Aisin AW players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record, which they share with Tokyo HT. Aisin AW at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Kagoshima. Saitama Broncos is looking forward to face Tokyo Excel. (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aisin AW will play against Kagoshima in Renova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
