Rather predictable result when second ranked Gunma (13-11) beat at home 5th ranked Kagawa FA (9-15) 82-66 on Saturday. Gunma looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Masashi Obuchi (182-83) who scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) chipped in 17 points.
