No shocking result in a game when second ranked Piacenza (12-3) beat at home 11th ranked Lugo (6-9) 102-94 on Saturday. Piacenza made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Lugo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Lugo's players. It was a good game for forward Riccardo Pederzini (200-89, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Riccardo Perego (202-81) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Newly promoted Lugo keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Piacenza will face Desio (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
