Very predictable result in Hangzhou where eighth ranked Golden Bulls (13-7) outscored 19th ranked Bayi Rockets (2-18) 97-68. Golden Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Bayi Rockets' players. The winners were led by American swingman Sonny Weems (198-86, college: Arkansas) who scored that evening 29 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and Lei Fu supported him with 27 points. Five Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by forward Liu Hang (203-93) did not help to save the game for Bayi Rockets. International guard Lei Meng (193-95) added 20 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Golden Bulls have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Bayi Rockets at the other side keep the nineteenth position with 18 games lost. Golden Bulls' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Hangzhou to the arena Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.
