There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Catanzaro (6-9) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Capo d'Orlando (6-9) 84-67 on Saturday. Capo d'Orlando looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Bosnian point guard Amar Balic (180-96) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Andrea Sorrentino (190-90) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Capo d'Orlando players scored in double figures. Guard Pasquale Battaglia (188-93) answered with 22 points and Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (192-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Catanzaro. Capo d'Orlando moved-up to eleventh place in B, which they share with Rimini and Lugo. Capo d'Orlando will face higher ranked Roma S.Azzurra (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
