Regular Season Round 15: Omnia Basket - Oleggio 75-77

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Serie B took place in Pavia. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Omnia Basket (8-7) to eighth ranked Oleggio (8-7) 77-75 in the game for the sixth place. It was a good game for center Stefano Colombo (200-95, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Edoardo Gallazzi (200-86) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Power forward Thomas De-Min (202-86) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Fabio Di-Bella (185-78) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Omnia Basket. Four Omnia Basket players scored in double figures. Oleggio moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with Forli Tigers. Oleggio is looking forward to face league's leader Omegna on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Omnia Basket will play against Piombino (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
