Very important is a road loss of second ranked Limoges CSP Elite (9-5) against twelfth ranked JDA Dijon (7-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Limoges CSP Elite was defeated by JDA Dijon in a tough game in Dijon 70-79. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Limoges CSP Elite. Limoges CSP Elite was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 46-30 second half run of JDA Dijon. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Nigerian-American guard Rasheed Sulaimon (193-94, college: Maryland) notched 18 points to lead the effort and American forward Ryan Pearson (198-90, college: George Mason, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by international center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94) did not help to save the game for Limoges CSP Elite. International William Howard (202-93) added 13 points for the guests. JDA Dijon moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Hyeres-Toulon. Limoges CSP Elite at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Le Mans. JDA Dijon will play against higher ranked JSF Nanterre (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against JL Bourg (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
