Very predictable result when fourth ranked Le Mans (9-5) defeated at home 11th ranked Cholet Basket (6-8) 65-47 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Cholet Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Chris Lofton (188-86, college: Tennessee) scored 16 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Wilfried Yeguete (200-91, college: Florida, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Yancy Gates (206-89, college: Cincinnati) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
