Undefeated Saint Vallier (14-1) recorded its first loss in Boulogne-sur-Mer on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (7-8) 74-66. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Saint Vallier. The best player for the winners was American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (194-87, college: St.Lawrence) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. SO Maritime Boulogne moved-up to ninth place, which they share with ALS Basket. Saint Vallier at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. SO Maritime Boulogne is looking forward to face Orchesien BC (#11) in Orchies in the next round. Saint Vallier will play at home against Brissac-Aubance (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
