Very predictable result when first ranked Basket Barcellona (13-2) rolled over at home 13th ranked Patti (3-12) 97-59 on Saturday. They outrebounded Patti 46-18 including a 32-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Basket Barcellona looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Patti's players. It was a good game for guard Daniele Grilli (190-87) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. Center Luca Pedrazzani (200-97) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Basket Barcellona players scored in double figures. Center Andrea Locci (203-93) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Antonino Sidoti (182-93) added 13 points in the effort for Patti. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Basket Barcellona maintains first place in B with 13-2 record. Loser Patti dropped to the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Basket Barcellona will face Roma Tiber (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Patti will play against Catanzaro (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
