The game between second ranked Townsville Fire (13-6) and 8th ranked Bendigo Spirit (4-15) in Townsville on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Townsville Fire outscored guests from Bendigo 120-62. Townsville Fire dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bendigo Spirit's 30 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Townsville Fire have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-6 record having just two points less than leader Perth. Loser Bendigo Spirit stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Townsville Fire will face league's leader Perth Lynx at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
