Regular Season Round 13: GSA Udine - Montegrano 79-75

The game between second ranked Montegrano (9-4) and fifth ranked GSA Udine (9-4) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Montegrano was defeated by GSA Udine in a tough game in Udine 75-79. Estonian guard Rain Veideman (192-91) stepped up and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and center Francesco Pellegrino (210-91) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. At the losing side American Marshawn Powell (201-90, college: Arkansas, agency: HMS) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Luca Campogrande (198-96) scored 16 points. GSA Udine moved-up to third place in A2. GSA Udine are looking forward to face league's leader Alma Trieste at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Montegrano will play against Imola and is hoping to win this game.
