Regular Season Round 12: Rosa - PGE Turow 109-82

There was a small surprise in Radom where ninth ranked Rosa (6-6) outscored 6th ranked PGE Turow (8-6) 109-82 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Rosa. PGE Turow was better in third quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to PGE Turow's 40 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Kevin Punter (188-93, college: Tennessee) who scored 22 points and 4 steals. International guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. Five Rosa players scored in double figures. Rosa's coach Wojciech Kaminski felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Cameron Ayers (196-91, college: Bucknell) who recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 17 points respectively. Rosa have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Rosa went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with BM Slam Stal. Loser PGE Turow keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Rosa will face Czarni (#15) in Slupsk in the next round where they are favorite.
